Horsham Rural City Council operates a 4-bin waste and recycling management system.

Scope:

The following Contract specifications cover:

• the receival of Council collected kerbside recyclables at a Contractor provided drop-off aggregation and transfer facility within 20 km of Horsham CBD, and
• the decontamination (optional), loading and transport of recyclables to a Contractor nominated Permitted and Licensed processing facility (MRF).

The Contractor is responsible for making all contractual arrangements with the MRF processing facility and obtaining any EPA, Council Planning or other permissions to consolidate mixed recyclables at its local facility prior to bulk haulage transport.

This Contract will be for a maximum term of 7 years with a 3-year initial term plus two (2) by two-year possible extensions, at Council’s sole discretion.

Council is not bound to accept any or the lowest tender.

Late tenders will not be considered.
