ABOUT THE TENDER

The Plant Genomics Centre, a two-story structure inclusive of an undercroft, was built in the year 2003 and is strategically positioned within the University's esteemed Waite Campus. This multi-purpose edifice serves as a shared facility, accommodating both office spaces and research laboratories for the University and other lessees.

Following a recent, thorough evaluation of the building's core infrastructure, it has come to light that the mechanical services and hydraulic equipment and fixtures have surpassed their anticipated lifespan. The predominant climate control mechanism within the structure comprises split-ducted air conditioning units, all of which align with the building's original construction date. Regrettably, these antiquated systems have resulted in exorbitant and recurrent maintenance expenditures.

To address this exigency, a comprehensive project has been diligently formulated. Its primary objective is not solely the replacement of obsolete building services equipment but, more pivotally, the formulation of a meticulously crafted strategy to submit efficient and effective mechanical services.
