Tender Description
The Australian Digital Health Agency is currently seeking nominations from the RACP for its Privacy and Security Advisory Committee.
Description
This is one of 4 advisory committees that support the ADHA Board to steward digital health in Australia.
The Privacy and Security Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations to the ADHA Board as follows:
- examine legal issues, including interim solutions, related to digital health systems (such as copyright, data privacy, confidentiality, data security and legal liability)
- about the long-term legal framework of digital health systems
- the resolution of privacy and security issues relating to digital health systems
- standards (including compliance with standards) relating to privacy and security of digital health systems;
- privacy and security issues encountered by users of digital health systems.
The ADHA Board is committed to ensuring that committees reflect the rich diversity of the Australian community, with nominations particularly encouraged from:
- women
- a mixture of aged groups
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- people with disability
- people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- those who identify with the LGBTIQ+ community
- people residing in regional, rural and remote Australia.
