Tender Description
Alpine Community Plantation are seeking a suitably qualified mountain bike trail design and construction company to work with ACP to deliver two new trails as follows:
- Flow Trail from fiveways to shuttle access point using the existing Flying Solo trail
- Climbing trail from shuttle access point to fiveways
- Remediation of existing climbing trail from shuttle access point to car park
- Remediation of existing flow trail from car park to shuttle access point
The new proposed trails will need to provide adequate connection between the car park, shuttle access and beginning / end of trails at the bottom of Emily Spur, whilst catering for all abilities and walkers in the areas.
Project Objectives
- To provide design connecting trails that are compliant to the Trail Difficulty Rating System
- To construct new trails with a preference to be completed prior to January 2024
- To take into account future construction of other trails within the area
