Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Central Coast Highway - Tumbi Road Intersection Upgrade – Expression of Interest (EOI)

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from pre-qualified contractors with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification Scheme at Road Category R3, Bridge Category B1 and Financial F25 or higher to undertake the construction of Central Coast Highway - Tumbi Road Intersection Upgrade. This work consists of the construction of the roadworks along the Central Coast Highway and Tumbi Road and the replacement of the existing roundabout with traffic signals. The successful tenderer will be selected through a two-phase procurement process. The first phase requires applicants to submit an EOI in response to this advertisement. A short list of applicants will then be selected from this EOI process and invited to tender for the work.

An EOI briefing will be held at 11:00am on Monday, 13 May 2024 at TfNSW office 6 Stewart Avenue, Newcastle.

Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming Application.

There will be no site inspection.

Prospective applicants will need to complete, sign and return the confidentiality deed to Senior Pre-contract Officer, Fion.Chan@transport.nsw.gov.au (in accordance with the instructions in that deed) prior to being given the passcode to access the EOI documents.

All applicants must comply with the Transport Statement of Business Ethics through the procurement process and any subsequent contract period.

All applicants must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework, NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement.

This Project is jointly funded by the Australian Government.

It is a requirement for this Project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for ‘building work’ for the Project and must maintain accreditation under the Scheme while the ‘building work’ is being carried out.
