Tender Description
This tender is for Contract 1601012 - Design and Construction of the Canomodine Bridge. The Contract will be a Lump Sum utilising the NSW Government GC21 form of Contract.
The scope of the contract includes remaining bridge structure removal and redesign including associated approaches in accordance with the Bridge Knowledge Design report revision 02 dated 28/07/2023. The Design shall comply with the requirements listed in the report, in particular, section 3.1 table 3, Appendix A, and the Hydraulic Assessment report dated 15/06/2023 including but not limited to:
- 100-year design life
- accommodate flows under the ARI10 event without road inundation.
- Design Surface level of RL347.800
- Minimum 25m reconstruction of pavement on each side of the bridge to work with new height.
- Associated barriers and signage as outlined in the concept drawings.
The Contractor shall allow traffic management including maintenance of the existing side track upon establishment onsite, the contractor shall also allow removal and remediation of the side track upon completion.
