Tender Description
This tender is for the purpose of procuring one 7.5m – 9.5m workboat to be operated as an AMSA certified domestic commercial vessel.
The vessel is to be operated by Parks Victoria as a workboat to support litter management on the Yarra and Maribyrnong Rivers.
requirements of the vessel will include:
- Towing or pushing of a 5-tonne floating automatic rubbish collector;
- Collection of litter from river traps using a crane and vacuum system onto the deck of the vessel;
- Lifting operations;
- Pushing and towing operations, and;
- General work boat operations.
- tender is to include the design, construction and supply of the vessel including a trailer, fully fitted out and certified for AMSA Class 2D (or higher) domestic commercial vessel operations with 1 crew and 5 special personnel.
- proven commercially built vessel is highly desirable with good stability while operating with loads on deck and performing lifting operations.
Vessel commissioning survey is to be completed no later than October 31, 2024.
