Development Victoria is seeking to engage a suitable contractor for undertaking the delivery of civil works for 119 lots residential subdivision in Phase 2 Stage 1 of the Olio Officer project.

This procurement will be conducted as an Open Tender.

Bidders must be pre-qualified (minimum R2 level) on the VicRoads Register of Pre-qualified Suppliers and must be able to demonstrate the below requirements:

• Experience in the successful completion of at least two R2 level projects in the last 5 years.
• Experience in successfully delivering projects of similar scale, with a contract value exceeding $5,000,000.
• Experience in managing groundwater mitigation strategies.

The successful Contractor will be required to:

• Gain a Safe Access Permit from MTM as the adjacent Rail Operators prior to commencement of works. Refer this link for further details: https://www.metrotrains.com.au/metrositeaccess/.
• Gain a Permit to Work (PTW) prior to undertaking any works within less than 5m of Vic Track Telco assets (orange line). Refer this link for further details: https://www.victrack.com.au/get-help/permit-to-work.

The tender will be awarded on a construct only basis, with the successful bidder appointed under Development Victoria’s modified AS2124 contract.

The procurement will be subject to the Ministerial Directions for Public Construction Procurement in Victoria, the Fair Jobs Code and Social Procurement Framework.

Contractors are required to respond to all the criteria set out in the RFP documentation. Bids will be only accepted via the Buying for Victoria portal by the closing date and time.
