IXOM Power Purchase Agreement

⁠⁠⁠Procurement Australia (PA) is coordinating the establishment of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) on behalf of our client IXOM Operations Pty Ltd for their sites located across Victoria and New South Wales.

IXOM Operations wishes to test the market and seek price certainty of a long-term Renewable Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the Victorian and New South Wales operations that would enable the business to meet the renewable energy targets set by the business.

This RFQ will identify a successful Respondent to enable the creation of a long-term (10 years) power and Large Generation Certificate (LGC) solution that could be constructed in any of the following contract forms:

a) For the New South Wales plant, it could be:

-A run-of-plant swap with LGCs

-A firmed flat swap with LGCs

b)For the Victorian plant, it could be:

-A run-of-plant swap with LGCs

-A firmed flat swap with LGCs

-Retail services with a run-of-plant swap with LGCs

-Retail services with a flat swap with LGCs

-Retail services offering a load following agreement with LGCs

Ideally, the solution would commence on 1 January 2025, however, alternative start dates would be considered.
