Provision of Lifts Maintenance and Service

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking Tenders from experienced Contractors to perform preventative and routine maintenance of lifts in Council Buildings.

The Contractor will be expected to perform the following tasks on Council buildings listed in the Specification at the nominated frequencies:

• Regular and regulatory inspection, servicing, and maintenance of passenger lifts and goods lifts (dumb waiters) in Council buildings in accordance with relevant procedures, Australian Standard 1735 and Division 4, Regulation 64 of Scaffolding and Lifts Regulations 1950 including all subsequent revisions;

• Regulatory testing and annual certification of passenger lifts and goods lifts;

• Maintain all statutory signage and labeling;

• Maintain and test emergency communication devices;

• Minimise the need for call-outs by visually inspecting all components for any condition that could cause a malfunction and clean fittings by removing any dust, dirt, or cobwebs;

• Undertake maintenance or repair works in response to breakdowns, calls outs etc; and

• Maintain reports on each site for the recording of maintenance information
