Administration and Data Collection of School-based Surveys

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (DE) is seeking a supplier to administer four core annual surveys conducted with students, staff, and parents/guardians at governments schools in Victoria in 2024. These surveys are administered annually throughout the year and aim to:

• help schools and the department plan, monitor and evaluate school improvement initiatives
• provide information about what matters most to improve student outcomes
• harness student voice to track school climate and student engagement in order to develop evidence-based improvement strategies
• support schools and teachers to improve classroom practice
• support schools to create a safer, more supportive and more engaging learning environments
• collect school staff feedback about their perceptions of the school environment with a particular focus on areas that affect student outcomes
• collect parent perceptions that offer valuable insights to order to develop evidence-based improvement strategies.

A supplier is sought to develop and manage an online collection platform and administer the collection for school-based surveys, for 2024 with the option to extend (at the departments discretion) for a further 2 x 12-month additional years.

The DE Supplier Portal

The Department of Education’s Oracle Supplier Portal allows suppliers to access and respond to procurement opportunities from a number of Education portfolio entities.

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being issued and managed through the Supplier Portal. All primary information relating to this RFQ is being provided through the Supplier Portal, and responses (i.e., quotes) should only be submitted through the Supplier Portal.
