Tender Description
The successful Tenderer is required to deliver a professional repair and maintenance service to the diesel fuel tanks on Home Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, consisting of:
a. Drain, internally clean, internally inspect, externally inspect and repair as necessary the above ground storage tanks in accordance with Steel Tank Institute standard SP031. Inspect and repair piping systems to ensure they remain fit for ongoing service.
b. Install an overflow pipe between the top of the day tank and the top of the master tank to comply with the requirements of Section 5.14.2 of Australian Standard 1940
c. Paint the tanks and piping with a paint system designed by the paint system manufacturer to obtain a minimum 15-year durability in a C5-M environment as defined in AS2312.
d. Provide a comprehensive written report on the inspection and repair of the tanks.
