Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) is commissioning a Minor Injuries and Illness Clinic (MIIC) at Tugun Satellite Hospital. The purpose of the MIIC is to operate as a satellite campus to provide services to the community in a more convenient setting, so that travel to a major hospital may be avoided. The services at the MICC will be tailored to meet the needs of the community. The MIIC will operate in conjunction with, report to, and operate under the direction, management, and clinical governance arrangements of the Robina Hospital Emergency Department.
This Expression of Interest (EOI) coincides with a concurrent traditional recruitment process. The expression of interest is a business continuity contingency exercise seeking industry-led solutions to secure General Practitioners (GPs) for the Tugun MIIC, for the most optimal outcome to support our health service objectives.
