Sustainable Mobility Data

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Transport & Planning (DTP) is seeking expressions of interest from Service Providers capable to provide solutions to maintain and expand the coverage of “sustainable mobility” data across metropolitan Melbourne and rural Victoria. For the purposes of this EOI, “sustainable mobility” refers to active modes of travel, including bicycles, pedestrians and mobility scooters, as well as emerging modes such as e-scooters.

DTP currently maintains a network of in-ground bicycle counter sites, providing primarily cyclist volumes and speeds.

DTP expects, the current model can be optimised to form the backbone of an expanded network data model design to achieve broader geographic and modal coverage.

Notes: DTP invites interested parties to register for attendance at a virtual industry briefing session for Next Gen Sustainable Transport data model and supply EOI. Please register your attendance via submitting a question through tenders.vic. Please provide:

- Organisation name

- Names and positions of attendees

- Email addresses (to receive the invitation) An email invitation with link to the event will be sent to all registered attendees. Organisations that do not register their attendance by 21 August 2023 may not be provided with the relevant details to attend the industry briefing.
