WestConnex - Haberfield G Loop Reinstatement Works - Minor Physical Work & Services

⁠⁠⁠Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is inviting suitably experienced, qualified contractors on the TfNSW pre-qualified list with R1 (Roadworks) and F1 (Financial) as a minimum to undertake minor physical civil work to remove the G loop and restore the area, reinstating the shared path and turfed areas.

As part of the construction works for WestConnex, Transport for NSW constructed a temporary G loop on the western side of Wattle Street as it transitions into Dobroyd Parade and the City West Link (route A44), to allow construction vehicles to safely turn right onto Waratah Street from the left side of the roadway. With the completion of construction on the M4 and M8 extensions, the G loop is now no longer required. Transport for NSW proposes to remove the G loop and restore the area, reinstating the shared path and turfed areas.

The scope of works includes but is not limited to the removal of existing G loop road pavement, a new footpath paving for pedestrian shared path, landscaping and turfing replacement of kerb line, replacement of pram ramp, and utility pit adjustment.

To successfully participate in the tender process for this project, tenderers:

•  Must be registered and active on the TfNSW pre-qualified list with R1 (Roadworks) and F1 (Financial) as a minimum under the TfNSW Prequalification Scheme for road construction.
• Must execute (to the satisfaction of TfNSW) the Confidentiality Deed Poll to receive the tender documents and must return to TfNSW via Tejas.Mistry@transport.nsw.gov.au by 4:30 pm (AEST) Monday, 14th August 2023.
• Must attend pretender meeting at TfNSW project office or Teams online at 10:00 am AEST 16th August 2023 in 71-79 Pyrmont Bridge Road, Pyrmont NSW
