Via PCD Australia and the Hope Research Fund, Lung Foundation Australia ispleasedtoinvite applications for the Lung Foundation – PCD Australia Grant valued at$30,000 + GST over a 3-year period.
PCD Australia (PCDA) is a charitable not-for-profit association incorporated in Australia, whose focus is on research and services to support those living with Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD), their families and carers. Research is vital in the ongoing pursuit of a cure, ensuring effective treatments for all people living with PCD, enhancing current treatments and helping reduce the burden of disease, with ongoing research success and treatment advances to enable people to live longer with PCD.
The Lung Foundation – PCD Australia Grantis designed to encourage and support those who areinterested in PCD research for a higher degree (PhD, Masters or equivalent). This grant will help contribute to the exemplary PCD research specialist community we have in Australia. For this grant, study that addresses management of the burden of disease (including treatment adherence, self-management, other) and/or aging with PCD (co-morbidities, mental health, other) is of particular interest, although applicants in other fields of study may apply. This scholarship is administered through a collaboration between PCD Australia and the Lung Foundation Australia.
