We invite organisations with suitable experience and capability (in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and SCADA) to submit a bid for the above referred bid invitation.

The East Rockingham Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) was commissioned in 2015 and currently has an inflow intake of only 4ML/d. Wastewater into the WRRF is received via the Magenta Crescent Sewage Pump Station (SPS) and McDonald Road SPS. The final effluent pumps are connected to the Sepia Depression Ocean Outlet Landline (SDOOL). The SDOOL is the treated water disposal for East Rockingham WRRF, Woodman Point WRRF, Point Peron Wastewater Treatment Plant, Kwinana WRRF and Kwinana Water Reclamation Plant.

The East Rockingham WRRF upgrade scope of works will be undertaken in separable portions, as follows:

• Separable Portion A requires the upgrade of the assets to increase the plant wastewater treatment capacity to up to 30 ML/d.
• Separable Portion B will include the remainder of the works to take sludge handling capacity to up to 30 ML/d.

A compulsory bid briefing and site visit will take place at 1:30pm WST on Wednesday 16 August 2023. Bidders are to allow for up to 2 hours for the visit. Bidders are required to register their attendance with the below noted bid contact. Failure to attend may preclude the bidder from the bidding process. The Bid Invitation Document will be made available by 11am WST, Monday 31 July 2023 to companies registered in eProcurement (supplier portal) as Water Corporation suppliers or bidders via the supplier portal.

Please be aware this may take up to 3 working days to process. Please provide the following reason when registering: “Access is required at the request of Anne Furnell”.

It is mandatory that all bidders achieve Water Corporation Health Safety and Environment (HSE) prequalification to tier 1 before contract award.
