Service Agreement Yarra Glen Memorial Hall & Reading Room

⁠⁠⁠An opportunity exists for a suitable locally based community group, organisation, or service to manage and provide operational planning at the Yarra Glen Memorial Hall (the facility), in liaison with Council and facility users. A service agreement will be granted until 30 June 2026 with two extension options of a further three years each, at Council’s sole discretion.

Applicants are required to describe their capacity to liaise with tenants, and casual and permanent facility hirers, oversee the functions, and outline a proposed budget for the delivery of the service.

Interested community groups, organisations, or services are invited to outline their capacity to provide the listed functions. Services are required from 1 September 2023 or if the tender process is delayed, a mutually agreed date shortly thereafter.

Whilst not mandatory, Council prefers to engage a locally based community group, organisation, or service that already provides local community services and/or programs and/or activities that reflect local community needs and contribute to community wellbeing, lifelong learning, and volunteerism.
