Tender Description
Tender for playground renewals at Patricia Carlon Reserve, Bexley and Noel Seiffert Reserve, Sans Souci.
Scope of works :
- Demolition of existing playgrounds and general demolition works including removal of footings.
- Tree Protection
- Construction of two (2) new playgrounds and associated park infrastructure works including procurement and installation of play equipment playground under surfacing, hard works, softworks and park furniture.
- All work as documented and specified in the Tender documentation.
- Play equipment and playground undersurfacing must be independently tested and certified prior to handover.
- Allow for stockpiling of excavated material within the park for re-use within the playground / project area.
Specific to Patricia Carlon Reserve:
- Salvage and re-use 2 x existing spring riders.
- Retain and protect existing shade sail structure.
- Application of painted linemarking to new pavement.
Specific to Noel Seiffert Reserve:
- Procure and installation of a shade sail structure. Engineering certification required.
- Tenderers are to refer to the Preliminary Site Investigations, Geotechnical Report and Acid Sulphate Soils Management Plan which identifies site.
