Tender Description
Queensland Public Health and Scientific Services (QPHaSS) is looking to partner with industry leaders to drive innovation in pathology point of care testing to support healthcare diagnostics, particularly to improve clinical decision making and outcomes and health system performance in emergency department settings.
To commence this process, QPHaSS is looking to gain a greater understanding of the current market and landscape, including current capacity and capability across the sector (nationally and internationally) and upcoming research and development.
The expression of interest has been released as part of a multi-stage procurement process for market scanning purposes only. The EOI will enable QPHaSS to assess the scope and maturity of established commercial providers in the diagnostic market focusing on pathology point of care testing equipment and services.
There is no prescribed or preferred approach, provider or model of manufacturing or service delivery. However, Supplier(s) are strongly encouraged to be able to demonstrate utility in a clinical emergency department setting for any proposed tests and/or services.
