Cleaning of Council Offices and Buildings

Council is now inviting Tenders for the provision of cleaning services for specified Council Offices and Buildings for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend for up to two (2) x one (1) year, or part thereof, subject to satisfactory performance. The total term of the contract shall not exceed five (5) years.

Council maintains a substantial number of diverse buildings that are required to be cleaned to Council satisfaction.

The range of buildings currently includes but is not limited to:

• Offices and Administration buildings
• Libraries
• Community centres
• Works Depots
• Indoor Sports Complex

Each building has different service requirements which are outlined in the service specifications which form part of this Request for Tender.

The successful tenderer will need to provide adequate storage facilities for the storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals (most sites have very limited storage available).

Soap, paper, hand towels, and other materials (other than general cleaning chemicals) are supplied by either the contractor or the council at the council's expense. This will be determined by the successful tenderer.
