Bundaberg Regional Council, in its capacity as a Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU), has an obligation under Section 39 of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (Qld) to provide its staff with adequate information, instruction, training, and supervision to ensure their safety in the workplace.
Council is committed to creating a safe working environment and to providing formally recognised training that meets the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and High-Risk Work Licence regulations.
To ensure compliance with the prescribed regulations and standards, Council also offers non-recognised training and competency maintenance courses.
Council is seeking to establish a Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for the supply of nationally accredited and non-accredited qualifications and courses.
Registered Training Organisations that have been accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) are invited to submit proposals.
The contract period will be for an initial term of three (3) years, with 2 x one-year extension options
