⁠⁠⁠Council invites companies to download quote documentation and submit a quote for the above-mentioned contract.

Kingston City Council (KCC) is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced builder to work on replacing the cladding and other associated works at the Sunny Boy Beach Club along the foreshore at Mordialloc.

The scope of works includes but is not limited to:

Cladding works:

- Removal and disposal of the existing deteriorated Zincalume cladding as per the demolition plans;

- Supply and install James Hardie cladding as per the architectural design and finish schedule

Associated works:

- Remove the existing timber decking to allow the cladding works to proceed; re-install and reinstate to match with existing condition; Existing timber floor beam and decking to be sanded and apply oil coating, refer to the architectural plans and finish schedule.

- All existing auto roller blinds to be removed and protected on site, and to be re-installed after the wall cladding installation;

- All existing timber posts are to be sanded and coated with oil as per the finish schedule; Existing top metal covers on the posts are to be abrasive blast cleaned, refer to finish schedule for coating specifications.

- Existing timber stair to be demolished; Make good and repair where necessary to match with the existing condition.

Structural awnings replacement:

-Removal and disposal of existing steel structural awnings, supply and install new steel rods and angles to the roof structure, refer to the structural plans and finish schedule for more details.

All works shall be completed in accordance with the documents provided.
