The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) is committed to improving the social and economic wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander South Australians by developing and implementing initiatives that support and strengthen cultural identify, and the spiritual and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal people and communities.
The Department is establishing a Preferred Supply Arrangement for Aboriginal Businesses (PSAAB). The PSAAB will serve as a central platform to procure suitably experienced Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses to provide services across a range of specialised categories to support the Department’s infrastructure projects and broader portfolio.
The Department invites interested Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses to apply to the PSAAB across the following categories:
- Project management services.
- Industry participation support.
- Aboriginal heritage services.
- Community engagement and cultural awareness training.
- Urban design and landscaping.
- Artworks.
This procurement is an Aboriginal-identified procurement opportunity and will be an open call to Aboriginal businesses only.
