Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking an experienced and qualified contractor to supply and install a pedestrian bridge with connecting footpaths at Scottville Road, Collinsville Qld 4804.
The works are part of a Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS) funded project to widen and realign Scottville Road as well as increase accessibility between Collinsville and Scottville.
The current bridge is narrow, non-compliant, and requires replacing.
Council will be commencing works to widen the road pavement and realign the curve late in the 2022/2023 financial year and due to be completed in September 2023. It is Council’s preference for the pedestrian bridge and footpaths to complete no later than September 2023, to align with these works.
