Tender Description
The Ararat Rural City Council (Council) is tendering for the installation of rubber playground surfacing at the Alexandra Gardens Playground, Vincent Street, Ararat and Lake Bolac Playground, Glenelg Highway, Lake Bolac, and invites submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors.
The project requires installation of rubber soft fall at both playgrounds, in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards and industry best practice. Council will be responsible for preparation of the soft-fall sub base and drainage for both installations, the contractor will advise council of any specific sub-base requirements for their product before the commencement of works.
Patterns in the rubber soft fall rubber such as contrasting colours for pathways and play areas are to be considered part of the project, the contractor will consult with council to determine how this will be implemented, leveraging their industry specific experience and knowledge.
Total area of rubber soft fall coverage at Alexandra Gardens Playground will be 720m2.
Total area of rubber soft fall coverage at the Lake Bolac Playground will be 320m2.
The Contractor shall be responsible for all labour, materials, plant hire, freight, fees, and other sundry expenses required to complete the works.
