Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the construction of a replacement wharf in the location of the existing Narooma Wharf. The new wharf facility comprises both fixed and floating components to connect, improve and increase the wharf area.

Key elements of the proposal include:

  • Staged demolition and removal of wharf deck and furniture, timber and concrete piles, utilities. 
  • Construction of new wharf of 77 meter long by three meters wide. 
  • Construction of 66 meter long by three meter wide pontoon. 
  • Installation of berthing and mooring infrastructure and wharf furniture. 
  • New sewage pump-out facility and sewer connection. 
  • Upgraded firefighting and power and water service pedestals. 
  • Upgrade of the seawall if required.
