Project Management Services - National First Nations Clean Energy Strategy

⁠⁠⁠The Department requires the services of a suitably qualified contractor to support the development of the First Nations Clean Energy Strategy by:

• Supporting the project team to develop a First Nations engagement and consultation strategy and plan that outlines the approach for and a program of respectful, meaningful, ethical, and outcomes focussed engagement. The strategy and plan will provide guidance on:

o Best practice co-design with First Nations organisations and communities

o How the project team works with others, and communicates more broadly, to test and refine options for the strategy and keep people informed along the way. 

o How the individuals, businesses, community groups, and other relevant parties should be engaged, and the plan for engagement (how, when, where).

• Organising the consultation and engagement activities, including all meeting logistics (contacting invitees, arranging dates, booking venues, booking catering and IT facilities where required, ensuring meeting venues are fit for purpose and accessible, arranging travel and accommodation as appropriate for attendees). Travel arrangements for meeting participants will be reimbursed at cost if required.

• Facilitating roundtables, workshops, and other engagement activities.

• Writing up meeting minutes, summarising outcomes and action items, and working with the project team to assign and report on action items.

• Advising the Department and core project team on culturally appropriate meeting etiquette.

• Helping ensure meetings run smoothly on the day and there are contingencies in place if there are logistical or other issues.

• Supporting the project team to develop educational and information materials to facilitate consultation and engagement activities.
