Telemetry services - Dooen Landfill

⁠⁠⁠Horsham Rural City Council invites you to provide a quotation for design, installation and ongoing access to leachate telematic systems and maintenance for Dooen Landfill.

Dooen Landfill located at 132 Ladlows Road, Kalkee, Victoria, and currently operates a number of landfill cells

As per EPA operating licence OL00012067 Horsham Rural City Council is required to comply with a number of environmental conditions.

Monitoring and management of landfill emissions a key priority for environmental compliance.
Upgrading of landfill leachate monitoring and management systems has been developed over recent years to include remote monitoring and access to online data services.

Council is currently seeking to expand the current monitoring and data service, telematics and data streaming services are required for landfill cells, Cell 1 Ladlows site, Cell 2 Stage 1 and 2 Ladlows site and Cell 2 Johns site.

Expansion of the current system will need to be completed by the end of the 2022 -2023 financial year for the Ladlows site, with the John site to be completed as cell filling nears completion.
An allowance is required for active cells to reposition monitoring equipment, the expectation is that active cells will be filled over the next 2 years.

Access to data streaming services will be ongoing for a period of 5 years to June 30 2028.
Leachate monitoring will include the depth of leachate in leachate sumps and volume of leachate discharged. Live streaming of data a requirement of systems.
