Tender Description
Mansfield Shire Council is seeking to engage the services of an experienced and qualified consultant to provide building regulation services.
Council currently receives building regulation services under contract, provided by one municipal building surveyor for two days per week. The surveyor is assisted by Council's internal administration staff and a cadet building surveyor.
A contract is sought to continue providing these services.
Council is also considering establishing a building permit service, which could be performed by the contractor as an option if implemented.
The contract will include undertaking building inspections, compliance and enforcement, providing advice to the community, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and other tasks.
