Tender Description
Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced food safety inspector to travel to Flinders Shire and inspect all registered food businesses.
Hughenden:
• Two (2) Roadhouses - Fixed
• Four (5) Cafes/Restaurant – Fixed
• One (1) Bakery – Fixed
• Two (2) Pubs - Fixed
• One (1) Food Van – Mobile
• Four (4) Council Facilities – Fixed
• Three (3) Possible Community Facilities - Fixed
Prairie (50km East of Hughenden):
• One (1) – Pub
Torrens Creek (100km East of Hughenden):
• One (1) – Pub
Hughenden is main township within the Flinders Shire and located 386km west of Townsville. Regional Express (REX) fly into Hughenden from Townsville on Monday/Wednesday/Friday mornings each week and fly back out on the same day in the afternoon. Council can provide a vehicle to conduct the inspections if required.
