Tender Description
The proposed research project will include:
• A detailed project plan and methodology outlining how the research will be executed.
• Attendance at a project initiation meeting with the Project Research Steering Committee (PRSC) at the commencement of the project.
• Identification of good practice examples, and review of research prioritisation, implementation/utilisation and reporting methods from across Australia and internationally [AR2.1].
• For the Queensland Disaster Management Arrangements, the development of a:
o Research Prioritisation Methodology/Framework
o Research Implementation and Utilisation Methodology/Framework
o Research Reporting Framework/Methodology
• Recommendations/ guides of how to implement these within the Queensland disaster management arrangements.
• Researchers will test draft report/approach with PRSC before testing with key stakeholders, including operationalisation and adaptability 12 weeks from the contract’s start date. Insights will then be built into final report.
• The final report including:
o A Research Prioritisation Methodology and Guide
o A Research Implementation Methodology and Utilisation Guide
o A Research Reporting Framework is due 16 weeks from the contract’s start date.
