Tender Description
OVERVIEW
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) is intending to release a Request for Tender (RFT) in May 2023 and is seeking Expressions of Interest concerning the Super Screens contract for future Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix events, to be held at Albert Park, Melbourne (Site) from 2024 onwards.
The following document provides additional information regarding the contract requirements.
Super Screens are to be positioned across the event site to provide enhanced viewing for patrons within the event boundary for both on-track and off-track activity.
The Scope of work will include, but is not limited to, the supply of approximately 55 x Individual Super Screens for the Event, equating to approximately 1500 sqm across the Site. Sizes typically range from between 10 sqm and 50+ sqm per screen.
The Super Screen structures to allow unobstructed viewing sightlines for patrons, suitable for each of the following locations;
• Grandstands;
• Hospitality Suites;
• Concert Precinct area;
• GA Areas; and
• Entrance Gateways.
The Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix event is held over a four day period, typically in March/April each year.
Construction of infrastructure to facilitate the Event is carried out over an 8-12 week build period in accordance with a strict Construction Programme, with dismantle beginning immediately following the Event. Full dismantle is required within three weeks of the Event.
