Tender Description
RMIT are seeking EOI submissions from suitably qualified construction companies suited to this type of construction project, who have had relevant experience in this style of construction and who have the relevant experienced personnel to deliver the project successfully on time and on budget. The select Request for Tender process for shortlisted EOI respondents is scheduled to commence in early May 2023, with a view to award the contract by mid-July 2023.
The works to be undertaken to deliver the building include:
· Securing the building permit.
· Civil works for the construction of a new building on a greenfield site.
· Structural works.
· Areas unique to the facility, including a training rig, welding bays and a sandpit for teaching / learning trades.
· Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, AV, fire and associated services works.
· Surrounding pathway and levelling, installation, and connection of water tanks.
· Installation of built-in furniture / shelving / lockers / AV equipment.
· Commissioning.
The contractors submitting an Expression of Interest to participate in the tendering process for this project are required to use EOI Part C Response Schedules to provide information.
The Expression of Interest (EOI) requirements and details are available to download via the Tender Documents tab. Vendors are to read the EOI documents carefully to ensure they are able to complete and submit necessary response schedules by or before the Closing
Deadline of 2pm AEDT, Thursday 23rd March 2023.
