Tender Description
The Torres Strait Island Regional Council is pleased to invite you to tender for the restoration of multiple roads in the Torres Strait Island Regional Council
Local Government Area (LGA) that were damaged on Badu Island as a result of the Northern and Central Western Queensland Rainfall and
Flooding event, 21 April – 12 May 2022 as described in more detail in Part 5 – Scope.
The work involved includes, but is not limited to:
- Contractors Site Facilities and Camp;
- Provision for Traffic;
- Environmental Management;
- Erosion and Sediment Control;
- Relocation of Services (if required);
- Earthworks – Preparation, excavation, subgrade treatment, backfill;
- Unbound and bound Pavements;
- Concrete works; and
- Other works as required under the contract
