Boree Creek and Urana Voluntary House Raising & House Purchase Scoping Study
Tender ID: 519825
Tender Details
Tender Description
This project consists of a scoping study to assess the feasibility and viability for those residential properties under consideration for voluntary house raising (VHR) or voluntary purchase (VP) at Boree Creek and Urana. This follows the completion of a Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan in 2022 which recommended that a VHR and VP scoping study be undertaken. Council has since secured NSW Floodplain Management grant funding for the project.
The project will include a floor level elevation survey (approximately 47 properties), site informed feasibility and cost of raising assessment for prospective VHR properties, and a site informed preliminary valuation assessment for prospective VP properties.
A non mandatory project briefing will be held at Council's Urana offices at 30-32 William Street on Wednesday 8 March 2023 at 11.00am for this and three other Federation Council flood mitigation projects which are concurrently out for tender. Prospective tenderers are encouraged to attend this
