Tender Details
Tender Description
Clarence Valley Council (CVC) is planning to design and construct a new reservoir and chlorine contact tank at Rushforth Road Water Treatment Plant (WTP), which is located approximately 10km south of Grafton and services several suburbs throughout the Clarence Valley. CVC intend to issue a Request for Tender for an upgrade to this plant which will include the design and construction of a chlorine contact tank of at least 1.8ML, a new minimum 16ML treated water reservoir, dosing system modifications for chlorine, fluoride and ammonia, predominantly new dosing locations, interconnecting pipework, bypasses, valves and associated items, pits, conduits and stormwater infrastructure and civil works (such as pits and conduits) that will enable a separate electrical and controls contractor to install instrumentation and SCADA controls.
CVC is seeking to implement a consultative approach to procurement using an Early Tenderer Involvement (ETI) process with a selected panel of up to four parties who are capable of performing the works. CVC may also elect to appoint one reserve.
Expressions of Interest are sought from suitably experienced contractors or consortiums who wish to participate in the ETI process and then tender for the works.
