Tender Description
From suitably qualified and experienced contractors for proposed construction works at Riverside Christian College, 23 Royle St, Maryborough West QLD 4650.
The proposed works, a two-storey Junior College and a refurbishment of the existing Multipurpose Hall, are split into 3 separable parts:
Junior College Stage 1
- 8 General Learning Areas (Junior School) and withdrawal rooms.
- Associated Verandah / Covered Outdoor Learning Areas.
- Landscaping Works.
- Construction Period: April 2023 – January 2024.
Junior College Stage 2
- 9 General Learning Areas (Prep and Junior School) and withdrawal rooms.
- Associated Verandah / Covered Outdoor Learning Areas.
- Junior College Administration and Staff Spaces.
- Associated Amenities.
- Carpark with 49 Parking Spaces.
- Landscaping Works.
- Construction Period: January 2024 – November 2024.
Refurbishment and Extension of Existing Hall
- Extensive refurbishment of existing Hall.
- Extension of a 2-storey Lobby.
- New Build Amenities Block.
- New Build Music Practice Rooms.
- Construction Period: April 2023 – January 2024 (Hall Refurbishment to be completed November 2023).
The works are all to be constructed under a single contract, divided into the 3 separable parts. Contractors shall provide details of their experience in educational projects of a similar scale in the last 5 years and their ability to service this project.
Tenderers will be invited to tender during February and March 2023, with an anticipated commencement of construction works in April 2023 and completion by November 2024, following a 5-week tender period.
EOIs should all be submitted electronically, marked ‘Riverside Christian College (Junior College and Hall) Tender EOI’ by 12 noon on Tuesday the 21st of February 2023. All EOIs should be sent to the project architects, Novum, at admin@novum.com.au .
