⁠⁠⁠The University of Adelaide invites you to participate in a Request for Proposal for the supply of a range of Laboratory Research Equipment and Related Services to the University of Adelaide in accordance with the requirements set out in this Request for Proposal (RFP).

ABOUT THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
This RFP invites Proposals for the supply of Laboratory Research Equipment and Related Services to the University of Adelaide in accordance with the requirements detailed in this RFP.

The University wishes to establish a panel of suppliers for the supply of a range of Laboratory Research Equipment, on an as required basis, to all University Campuses and Schools.
There is no specific or immediate requirement to purchase any equipment arising from this RFP.

The intention is to enter into standing offer agreements with several preferred suppliers who are capable of supplying part of, or all of the equipment under the sub-categories identified in this RFP.
It is important to note that contracts may still be awarded to suppliers who only opt to supply part of the overall scope of equipment listed.

The resulting contracts and supplier relationships will enable the efficient procurement of equipment under established pre-qualified agreements, help in managing associated risks, maintain compliance to internal policies and principles, and at the same time ensure that equipment ordered is generally fit for purpose and delivers best value for money.

It is envisaged that contracts be awarded to successful tenderers for 5 years being an initial term of 3 years, with an option for 2 further terms of 12 months, considering supplier performance, changing demand, to meet changes in research activities, and any other factors the University deems relevant.
