Ramp Replacement - Warracknabeal Regional Livestock Exchange

⁠⁠⁠Yarriambiack Shire Council are seeking a suitably qualified supplier to design, construct and install a new ramp at the Warracknabeal Regional Livestock Exchange; the Livestock Exchange is located at 74 Henty Highway, Warracknabeal.

The yards are constructed from galvanized steel and the surface of the selling pens and work areas are marked concrete. Holding pens are constructed of compacted gravel surfaces. The design includes Unloading/loading areas, holding pens, isolation pens and drafting pens. All holding pens, isolation pens and drafting pen surfaces, are constructed of compacted gravel and crusher dust.

Council intends to further develop and improve the general amenity of the saleyard site and offer improved efficiencies and safety for users and livestock. The objective of this project is to replace an existing inferior ramp, referred to as Ramp “A”, with a new ProWay ramp to complement and match the existing infrastructure at the site.

The project includes the following works:

• Removal of existing ramp and disposal
• Fabricate and/or supply new support frame assembly from steel
• Assembly includes posts, top rail, back stay lugs, lock bar system and bump stop framework
• Fully install new support frame assembly into place
• Modifications to existing gates and fences as needed
• Steel plates and cleats to be coated in quality grey primer
• 25 MPA concrete footings
• Supply and installation of one 2000kg rated winch system for new ramp

Tendered price is to include all materials, labour, all plant/equipment hire, freight/transport costs, permit fees and engineering drawings.
