Tender Description
Merri-bek City Council invites quotations from suitably qualified organisations to act as an independent investment advisor for Council’s investment portfolio.
Council is seeking to appoint an independent investment advisor via a Quotation process for the following assignment:
- To assist with the development of Council’s investment strategy that complies with Council’s adopted investment policy, the Local Government Act and Council Investment Restrictions
- Provide independent advice on and recommend specific investment options that comply with Council’s draft investment policy, the Local Government Act and Council Investment Restrictions.
- To review cash management practices and assist to develop appropriate methodologies (e.g. working capital model) to reduce interest costs and increase interest revenue.
