Tender Description
Council invite companies to download tender documentation and submit a tender for the abovementioned contract.
Please ensure tender submissions are submitted before the tender close date and time.
Late tenders will not be accepted.
Council advertises approximately 450 planning applications a year as per the amended 'Notice of Application (Advertising) Policy' (see Appendix A). The amended policy introduced a new public notification process which will result in a Council commissioned contractor preparing and placing the advertising of application signs on land associated with particular planning applications.
The placement of all signs on site has been successfully running for the past 8 years. This specification, steps through the processes to be undertaken by Council and Council's appointed Contractor.
The contractor will be authorised by Council to place the signs up on site/s.
The process streamlines and enhances the public notification process, providing a timely service delivery for permit applicants.
