Request for Quotations - Provision of Internal Audit Services, 2023-2026

⁠⁠⁠Parkes Shire Council is seeking to appoint one (1) suitably experienced and qualified Internal Audit Services Provider to deliver Internal Audit Services for the period commencing 01 February 2023 and concluding on 30 June 2026. This is a 'full service' Internal Audit function.

The scope of Internal Audit Services embraces the wider concepts of corporate governance and risk, recognising that controls exist in an organisation to manage risks and promote effective and efficient governance and performance. The types of
Internal Audit Services sought by Council are:
(a) Assurance services;
(b) Consulting services; and
(c) Value-adding services.

The contract encompasses internal audit planning, conducting internal audit engagements, follow-up implementation of internal audit recommendations, attendance at Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee meetings, and other associated duties.
