Leadville Mine Remediation Construction – Wet Hire Plant Supply

⁠⁠⁠"Soil Conservation Service (SCS) have been engaged by Legacy Mines Program (LMP), a division of Department of Regional New South Wales (DRNSW) to effect remediation works for the former Leadville Mine site located in Leadville, NSW. The aim of the remediation is to prevent further release of contaminated material into the local Leadville environment by containing exposed surface mine waste materials in an earthen cover system structure & preserve the mine artifacts and landscape for mine heritage interpretation

Scope

The successful tenderer will be required to provide all necessary machinery & labour to effect:

•the excavation of contaminated material from various works areas around the site as directed by SCS project staff.

•the placement of excavated treated material into the numerous cover system structures.

•the excavation of borrow materials from various works areas around the site as directed by SCS project staff.

•the placement of excavated borrow material into the numerous cover system structures.

•compaction of contaminated treated material to required levels in accordance with the Technical Specification, the Inspection & Test Plan and any other attendant documentation under the direction & supervision of SCS project staff.

The successful tenderer will be required to execute the works in accordance with the following:

•All directions issued by SCS site staff and technical oversight team.

•The Project Technical Specification.

•Leadville Mine Rehabilitation Project Management Plans.

•Terms & Conditions of Contract.

•NSW WHS Act 2011 & WHS regulation 2017.
