Tender Description
Transport for NSW is inviting suitably experienced, qualified and accredited Contractors under the National Prequalification Scheme for road works (dated 10th October 2022) with mandatory prequalification levels of F2 (Financial) and R2 (Roadworks) to participate in the tender process for the Minor Physical Works and Services Contractor for the Civil Package 1 project (Contract No. 22.0000139283.2014.RFT).
To successfully participate in the tender process for this project, Contractors:
• Must provide evidence of National Pre-qualification Scheme for Road Works (dated 10th October 2022) with mandatory prequalification levels of F2 (Financial) and R2 (Roadworks)
• Must execute (to the satisfaction of TfNSW) the confidentiality Deed Poll to receive the tender documents and must return to TfNSW via vladimir.khlopovskikh3@nsw.gov.au by 10:00 am (AEST) Monday 28th November 2022.
The purpose of the Minor Physical Works Civil Package 1 project is to improve road safety and efficiency, for all road users by implementing the following proposed works:
- Windsor Road and Commercial Road Intersection Improvement: road widening to install new bus lane at Windsor Road and Commercial Road intersection, Rouse Hill.
- MR177 Campbelltown Road Intersection Improvement at Harbord Road and Plough Inn Road, Leumeah: extending right turn bay at Campbelltown Road and Plough Inn Road intersection.
- Venice Street Shared Path Upgrade: construction of new shared path and lighting works at Venice Street and Alexandra Canal, Alexandria.
The Contractor must satisfy the National Prequalification Scheme for road works with mandatory prequalification levels of F2 (financial) and R2 (road works).
The Contractor’s general obligations include but are not limited to:
- Providing a skilled team, which will work collaboratively with Transport for NSW, Councils, Utility companies and key stakeholders to deliver the contract works in line with agreed documentation and program requirements.
- Submit responses to the selection criteria as detailed in the Annexure CT3 in Request for Tender.
