Tender Description
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) invites suitably qualified and experienced entities to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) Application to be considered for a shortlist to tender for the construction of the Woolooware Bay Aquaculture Precinct (the Project).
The Project scope includes the demolition and replacement of overwater and land-based structures at “The Oyster Farm” which is situated on land owned by Transport for NSW and located on Captain Cook Drive, Woolooware Bay. The aging structures are no longer fit-for-purpose and must be upgraded to meet modern operational and safety standards.
The Project is expected to reinvigorate the aquaculture industry within the Georges River estuary, providing employment and economic growth while supporting the future food security needs of the state.
The contracting model will be a develop design and construct contract (the Contract) whereby the successful tenderer will be required to finalise the TfNSW supplied design and construct the Project in accordance with a C2-GC21 form of contract.
To procure this Contract, TfNSW proposes to enter into a two-phased competitive selection process with the market. Tendering will be by invitation only from those who submit an ROI Application and are shortlisted to tender for the Contract.
All applicants must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).
