Tender Description

The Rural City of Wangaratta (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to carryout the civil construction activities for the Cheshunt Streetscape Re-development, as a part of the Activating King Valley - Prosecco Road Project.

This Contract requires the Contractor to carry out?the re-development of the Cheshunt Streetscape, including the following activities:

  • Excavation and removal of existing pavement, crossovers, and stormwater pipes, and all other materials not incorporated into the final works
  • New pavement in parts of the running lane, and road shoulder of the King Valley Road
  • Kerb and channel
  • On-street angle, parallel, and long vehicle parking, including linemarking and tree outstands
  • Underground drainage, including pits and pipes
  • Footpaths, shared paths, and pram crossings
  • Vehicle crossovers to suit new kerb and parking layouts
  • Landscaping – mulching, topsoil and seeding.
