Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The structure (supporting road infrastructure) on Geelong-Ballan Rd has failed and a large tension crack and vertical subsidence of 100-200mm has developed in the forward land and verge. Due to the age and nature erosion/movement of the geotechnical structure, the road now requires works to improve the safety of the road infrastructure.

 
To address the failing infrastructure, temporary sheet piles were installed in November 2021, further rectification works required are to construct a soldier pile retaining wall and reconstruct this section of road.
 
The Scope of works involve but not limited to:
 
- Vegetation clearing
- Bulk earthworks
- Retaining wall construction
- Stormwater drainage
- Pavement construction
- Guardrail installation, signage and linemarking
