Central Goldfields Shire Council is seeking submissions from suitably qualified contractors for the Maryborough Town Hall Electrical Upgrade Works.
As part of the tender process there will be a site visit available on 21 February 2023, further details will posted through the portal.
This opportunity is being readvertised with additional information.
The Town Hall building currently has power isolated due to OHS considerations with the condition of the existing site electrical infrastructure.
The project is to make safe and upgrade the sites electrical infrastructure and upgrade to current standards, as well as to supply and install an upgraded audio visual/video conferencing system to the Council Chambers.
The building is on the state’s Heritage Register with the site’s planning scheme having a Heritage Overlay.
A key objective of the project is to have these essential works completed to enable the building to go back into services.
