Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Maitland City Council (MCC) owns and operates the Mt Vincent Road Waste Management Centre (MVWMC). The MVWMC is licensed to accept general solid waste (putrescible and non-putrescible) and asbestos waste for landfilling. In addition to landfilling, activities undertaken at the MVWMC include collection and storage of various recyclables and vegetation, and operation of a Community Recycling Centre.

Council is inviting Suppliers to submit a quote for the hire of an alternate applicator, for the primary purpose of applying alternate daily cover (ADC). The application of daily cover is a requirement of MCC's Environment Protection Authority Licence 6116 to manage environmental impacts associated with fires, windblown litter, odour, and vermin.
